Who we're searching for

Finding the right surrogate is the most important step for us in this exciting and scary journey. We’re not just looking for someone to carry our child—we’re looking for a partner in this life-changing experience.
We're looking for someone who...

01
Meets the medical criteria
We're hoping our surrogate is between the ages of 21 and 45, is in good health, and has had at least one successful pregnancy and delivery without complications.
03
Is located in Canada
We’d love to find someone located within Canada so we can stay connected throughout the process. Being in the same country makes it easier for us to be actively involved, whether it’s attending appointments or sharing milestones, while also navigating the journey within the same legal and medical systems.
05
Has a strong support system
This journey requires love and encouragement not just from us, but from those around you. Whether it’s a partner, close family, or friends, we hope you have a circle of people who support your decision and are ready to back you every step of the way.
07
Has a sense of humor
Sometimes the best way to get through a tough moment is with a laugh. We hope to find someone who also values humor and lightheartedness, even when things feel heavy. We promise to bring plenty of warmth and good spirits along the way.
02
Is a thoughtful decision maker
We want to work with someone who has truly considered this path. Whether you've been a surrogate before or are exploring this option for the first time, it's important to us that you've taken the time to research the process, understand what's involved, and feel confident in your choice. If you're still learning, a curious and motivated spirit is just as meaningful.
04
Advocates for their own wellbeing and health
Your health and well-being are at the heart of this journey. We’re looking for someone who is proactive and confident in advocating for their own physical, mental, and emotional health. From asking questions in doctor’s appointments to speaking up about how you’re feeling, we hope to work with someone who values self-care and isn’t afraid to voice their needs.
06
Values communication
This is a deeply personal experience, and we know it won’t always be easy. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable sharing both the joys and the challenges with us. We want to be there for you during every part of the process, whether it’s celebrating a milestone or navigating a hard day.
08
Is open to a lifelong friendship
We’re hoping to create a meaningful bond that doesn’t end when the baby arrives. Ideally, we’d love to stay in touch and build a lifelong friendship based on the incredible journey we share. While we respect everyone’s boundaries, the idea of staying connected and sharing life’s moments over the years would mean the world to us.
